North Carolina's Plan to Promote the Health of People With Disabilities: Everywhere, Everyday, Everybody 2010-2020 (2nd ed.)

North Carolina Office on Disability and Health
2013

The Plan is designed to advance the integration of disability into the health promotion and disease prevention infrastructure within our state and increase the focus on health and wellness in the disability community. It calls upon all North Carolinians to share expertise and resources to build the states capacity to improve the health of people with disabilities across the lifespan. The Plan also challenges all of us to tackle inaccessible environments, discriminatory attitudes, policies, and norms that result in barriers to health, wellness, and quality of life for people with disabilities.
