Global Implementation Conference

The first Global Implementation Conference was held in the Fall of 2011. The goal of the Conference was to integrate and expand the science, practice, and policy of implementation, organization change, and system transformation. Implementation Research Monograph Reaches 400,000+ Downloads

The highly regarded monograph, Implementation Research: A Synthesis of the Literature, recently hit the 400,000 download mark 76 months after its publication. The monograph, co-authored by Dean Fixsen, Sandra Naoom, and Karen Blase of the National Implementation Research Network, based at FPG, describes the current state of the science of implementation, and summarizes the existing implementation evaluation literature. The monograph identifies what it takes to make full and effective use of evidence-based programs and other effective innovations in human services, including child welfare, early childhood education, education, employment services, juvenile justice, mental health, social services, and substance abuse prevention and treatment services.
