Nakenge Robertson is a Project Manager at the National Implementation Research Network at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Currently, her primary project work is with the Office of Head Start National Center for Early Childhood Development, Teaching, and Learning, which develops and delivers Technical Assistance to Head Start professionals. She works with the Principal Investigators to oversee a five-year $9 million award, manages the project deliverable and timelines, and facilitates communication with the funder. At Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute (FPG), Nakenge has also supported early childhood projects that focused on Quality Rating and Improvement Systems and Home Visiting. Prior to joining FPG, Nakenge worked in the financial services industry as a Product Manager, Operations Manager, and Professional Development Trainer. While her professional roles have been fulfilling, her most memorable times have been previously serving her campus community in leadership roles with the Carolina Black Caucus and Employee Forum. Volunteering her time to celebrate and advocate for fellow campus employees is her way of giving back to her campus community. Nakenge has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Amberton University.
