FPG executive leadership board member Ron Haskins will give the Bronfenbrenner Lecture at the Bronfenbrenner Center for Translational Research. The center capitalizes on translational research to more closely link the twin missions of research and outreach.

Bronfenbrenner Center for Translational Research (BCTR) in the College of Human Ecology (CHE) capitalizes on one of the most dynamic and exciting recent developments in the scientific community: the new emphasis on translational research (TR) as a means to more closely link the twin missions of research and outreach. TR is the systematic movement of research findings into the development of innovative interventions, practices, and policies that may ultimately improve health and well-being, and also the use of knowledge derived from interventions, practices, and policies to inform research. - See more at: http://www.bctr.cornell.edu/about-us/#sthash.igCpg4AJ.dpuf
