Our impact: DaSy

The Center for IDEA Early Childhood Data Systems (DaSy) has been funded by the U.S. Department of Education Office of Special Education Programs since 2012; current FPG funding is for $3 million over 5 years, from 2024-2029.

DaSy is a national technical assistance center that works with state early intervention and early childhood special education programs funded under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) to build high quality state data systems and use data to improve results for young children, ages birth to 5, with disabilities and their families.  The center does this by improving states’ capacity to collect, report, analyze, and use high-quality data and enhance states’ capacity to share, link, and integrate data with key partners to address critical policy questions. FPG is one of six institutions working on this cooperative program operated by SRI.
