The State Implementation and Scaling-Up of Evidence-Based Practices (SISEP) Center has been funded by the U.S. Department of Education Office of Special Education Programs since 2008; current FPG funding is for $1.2 million annually over 5-year, from 2023-2028.
The SISEP Center is dedicated to supporting the implementation, scaling, and sustainability of evidence-based practices to improve outcomes for students with disabilities. The work accomplished through this grant serves as the foundation for the development, operationalization, use, and refinement of one of the most commonly used implementation practice frameworks, the Active Implementation Frameworks, which provides a systematic, structured, and practical approach to support the successful and sustainable implementation of evidence-based practices within educational settings. Partnering with more than 30 organizations, SISEP has become one of the cornerstones of implementation science for the field of education.
