The STEM Innovation for Inclusion in Early Education (STEMIE) Center has been funded by the U.S. Department of Education since 2018; current funding is for $7.25 million over 5 years, from 2023-2028.
STEMIE is a technical assistance and dissemination center that works to elevate early childhood professionals, faculty, and families’ competence and confidence in early science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) learning for young children with disabilities. The work at STEMIE has been specifically designed and selected by experts to individualize and promote learning for each and every child in a flexible, growth-oriented format.
