Biographical Statement 

Marais Pletsch, MA, is the Impact Center Project Manager at the UNC Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute. She supports the team, communities, coalitions, and state agencies to optimize the outcomes and sustainability of population level evidence-based interventions. Marais has experience supporting children and families across various systems including public health, global refugee contexts, early childhood education, and healthcare. She obtained her Master’s of Social Science and Public Policy at King’s College London. Some of her areas of interest include promotion of family-friendly policies, building trauma-informed systems, and elevating diverse community voices in program design and implementation.
