Parent Ambassadors Acceleration Grant Data Analysis

As interest in family engagement in early care and education grows, five schools in the Educare Network are working to implement a Parent Ambassadors program to facilitate parent engagement. This new program will connect with the intermediate family outcomes within the Educare Intensive Family Engagement Logic Model. The purpose of the current analysis is to provide a current status look at some of the parent/family and staff measures/variables that have a connection to the "Family as Lifelong Advocate and Leader" intermediate outcome. The results are intended to be a jumping off point for reflective conversations with the schools involved in the Parent Ambassadors (PA) Acceleration Grant. Improvement science tools and processes are one approach to understanding variation by planning, trying, and tracking discrete changes to practice. The results of this analysis will be used in the  development of improvement science tools to be used by Educare schools implementing the PA program. FPG will support these efforts by identifying analytic variables and providing descriptive statistics from the 2017-2018 school year Educare Implementation Study data.
