FPG Senior Scientist Retired Mary Ruth Coleman and fellow guest editors introduce a special issue of Gifted Child Today on "Racially, Ethnically, and Linguistically Different Gifted and Talented Students." Feature articles in the issue include: “Addressing Academic and Opportunity Gaps Impacting Gifted Black Males: Implications for School Counselors,” “Recruiting and Retaining Black Male Teachers in Gifted Education,” “Using the Blooms–Banks Matrix to Develop Multicultural Differentiated Lessons for Gifted Students,” “Strength-Based RTI: Developing Gifted Potential in Spanish-Speaking English Language Learners,” and “From Bystander to Upstander Teacher for Gifted Black Students Accused of Acting White.” In addition, three columns appear in the issue: “Multicultural Issues: Gifted Education Discrimination in McFadden v.
