Evidence-Based Practice Empowers Early Childhood Professionals and Families

The phrase evidenced-based practice is becoming standard vocabulary in the early childhood field, yet there is no consensus on its definition. The authors of a new book propose a definition of the concept and discuss how it can help early educators, special educators, child care professionals, and others to transform the services provided to children and families.
