The Equity Research Action Coalition is excited to invite you to a virtual follow-up convening to continue the work of our June 18 convening, Early Connections: Building Bridges for Brighter Futures. This event is open to all.
During our follow-up event, we will:
- Review the major themes from June 18th convening
- Review policy recommendations and actions related to early care and education (ECE) and
- maternal and child health (MCH)
- Hear from speakers dedicated to collaborative work supporting ECE and MCH
- Answer any questions you may have from June 18!
- Facilitate small group discussions among attendees to identify support needs and resources available
About the June 18 Event:
This dynamic, invitation-only convening focused on early childhood education and intervention, maternal, child, and family health, and overall childhood well-being was designed to spark meaningful connections and foster innovative partnerships among community organizations, policymakers, and researchers working on these critical issues. During the event, which featured inspiring speakers, interactive panels, and collaborative discussion groups, participants were able to learn about and contribute to practical strategies and actionable steps to enhance and sustain well-being for all families.
The convening was dedicated to driving real change across North Carolina and beyond. With its history of leadership and innovation, North Carolina is poised to continue setting a national example of what commitment to change can achieve.
