Join the National Implementation Research Network (NIRN) for Networks for Change: Building Capacity Beyond Communities of Practice, a webinar highlighting the development and evolution of the New York Math Network. In this session, the team will share why the network was created, how it was designed to strengthen district and state implementation capacity, and the strategies used to move beyond traditional communities of practice toward more action-oriented implementation networks. Participants will hear key lessons learned from the work across partners and leave with practical ideas, reflection tools, and next steps for designing or strengthening their own cross-system networks.
The NY Math Network is a collaboration between the National Implementation Research Network (NIRN) and several major New York State school districts. This project brings together Buffalo Public Schools, Rochester City School District, and Yonkers Public Schools in a coordinated effort to transform mathematics instruction through the systematic implementation of high-quality instructional materials (HQIM).
