Meriel Shire, MPH, MSW, is an implementation specialist with the Implementation Capacity for Triple P (ICTP) projects, The Impact Center at Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute. Meriel works closely with child and family support systems across North Carolina in applying implementation science best practices to sustain and scale their use of evidence-based programs and practices. 

Prior to joining FPG, Meriel supported communities locally and nationally in implementing and scaling several evidence-based programs and initiatives, including nurse home-visiting for families with newborns and adolescent sexual and reproductive health service access.
