Biographical Statement
Giselle Medina is a research assistant with the National Implementation Research Network (NIRN) at the UNC Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute (FPG). She graduated from the University of Florida with a focus in communication sciences and disorders. Medina has six years experience providing support to research fellows at FPG and is skilled in bilingual data collection, study recruitment and data management. Her areas of focus include promoting school success for children starting at the preschool age and supporting applied research, primarily with ethnically diverse children and families, dual language learners, and multilingual language learners within school and community settings.
