Sonya Abbate is an implementation associate with The Impact Center at the UNC Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute (FPG), where she focuses on graphic design, social media, website management, and the Implementation Science at Work podcast.

She has more than a decade of experience in marketing and communications and enjoys enhancing brand awareness and engagement, and explaining complex ideas in a visual way. Prior to joining the Impact Center at FPG, Abbate was a digital marketing manager with Duke Corporate Education.

She holds a BA in communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
