Strengthened by recent Federal legislation to promote evidence-based and evidence-informed home visitation, Thrive by Five Washington has the opportunity to assist Washington State in further coordinating and growing its available home visitation resources to better meet the needs of families. The National Implementation Research Network (NIRN) will support Thrive by Five Washington in the development of their Implementation HUB for Evidence-Based Home Visitation. NIRN will provide guidance to Thrive by Five Washington on their current implementation structures and processes, as well as support Thrive by Five Washington staff in using the Active Implementation Science Framework through the training and ongoing coaching of Implementation Hub staff.
The NIRN and Thrive by Five Washington partnership will endeavor to achieve the following objectives:
- Build professional development opportunities, training, and technical assistance for specific models/programs to support quality implementation of home visiting services.
- Build capacity to increase access to home visiting services in rural, tribal, and other underserved communities.
