The National Implementation Research Network (NIRN) is partnering with the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) to integrate principles and frameworks of implementation science into their ongoing technical assistance, strategic support, and evaluation and monitoring of 23 local communities implementing evidence-based home visiting (EBHV) models with state and federal funds.
The goals of the DPHHS/NIRN partnership include:
- Seed and develop the capacity of a State Implementation Team to promote effective implementation of EBHV models at the local level through the use of Active Implementation Frameworks;
- Partner with DPHHS, model developers, and key stakeholders to ensure the co-creation of a visible infrastructure to support EBHV in Montana; and
- Provide implementation support to local EBHV communities to ensure the development of local implementation teams, sustainable infrastructures, and data-driven decision-making to support high-fidelity implementation of selected EBHV models.
