Suzanne Kucharczyk, Evelyn Shaw, Brenda Smith Myles, Lisa Sullivan, Kate Szidon, & Linda Tuchman-Ginsberg
The NPDC coaching manual was developed to support practitioners’ implementation of evidence-based practices in programs that serve children and youth with autism spectrum disorders. The manual describes:
the roles and responsibilities of coaches and inviting partners;
three types of coaching;
the processes involved in coaching;
elements of effective coaching;
the integration of coaching within the partnership between states and the NPDC; and,
provides guidelines for providing content on coaching through professional development.
