The NPDC coaching manual was developed to support practitioners’ implementation of evidence-based practices in programs that serve children and youth with autism spectrum disorders. The manual describes:
- the roles and responsibilities of coaches and inviting partners;
- three types of coaching;
- the processes involved in coaching;
- elements of effective coaching;
- the integration of coaching within the partnership between states and the NPDC; and,
- provides guidelines for providing content on coaching through professional development.
