Biographical Statement
Kylie Garber, PhD is a research scientist at the UNC Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute (FPG). She works with FPG’s Research-Policy and Practice Collaboration with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Her current work focuses on evidence-based practices that support the early care and education workforce.
Garber was previously with FPG as a graduate research assistant on the Early Learning Network project and the Abecedarian 45-year follow-up study. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship with the Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD) where she supported the health and education policy portfolios for Senator Tim Kaine.
