The Pew Charitable Trusts and National Implementation Research Network Partnership in Using Implementation Science to Support Results First Initiative

Area(s) of Work: Child Welfare

The National Implementation Research Network (NIRN) will partner with The Pew Charitable Trusts (Pew) to build the capacity of Results First States to integrate implementation science into their evidence-based policymaking approaches. The goals of the Pew/NIRN partnership are to build the capacity of Results First States to promote effective implementation of evidence-based programs and policies demonstrated to achieve outcomes, and to partner with Results First to develop and execute an offering to jurisdictions for more intensive implementation support.

The goals of the partnership will be reached through the following two-tiered approach:
•  Tier 1 – develop and deliver semi-customized implementation science learning events for up to six exemplar Results First States
•  Tier 2 – provide time-limited virtual coaching to up to six exemplar Results First states

An additional task to support the goals of the partnership will include developing an implementation science training for Pew staff.
