The North Carolina School Readiness Assessment provided statewide representative data about kindergartners and schools in the fall of 2000. Stakeholders in Cumberland County, North Carolina commissioned a study of the condition of children and the capacity of schools in their community to evaluate local efforts related to school readiness. This report provides countywide representative data about kindergartners and schools in the fall of 2001.
