Biographical Statement
Leslie deRosset is an implementation specialist at the UNC Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute and adjunct instructor at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. In her role, she utilizes implementation science by collaborating with local and state agencies and organizations, communities, coalitions, and other stakeholders to support the implementation of evidence-based programs.
Leslie has worked in public health for almost two decades focusing on maternal and child health. She has extensive experience in the design, implementation, and evaluation of multi-faceted public health evidence-based programs. Her work has been in a multitude of settings, including Nicaragua, El Centro Hispano (Health Director), the March of Dimes (Latino Campaign Coordinator), and most recently with the North Carolina Division of Public Health as the program manager for Improving Community Outcomes for Maternal and Child Health.
Leslie holds advanced degrees in public health from both The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of South Carolina (Columbia).
