Biographical Statement 

Rebekah Hornak is an experienced educational implementation leader currently serving as a K-12 implementation specialist & lead at the National Implementation Research Network (NIRN). Her expertise is grounded in a diverse background spanning various roles in Michigan schools, including executive director of instruction overseeing services for 12 districts, middle school principal and curriculum coordinator at Saginaw Intermediate School District, and high school assistant principal and athletic director at Freeland Community School District and Durand Area Schools. Notably, she has held leadership positions focused on implementation science, such as SISEP director, and contributed to national projects like the New York Math Network as a principal investigator. Her work at NIRN also includes being a member of the leadership team and communication lead, as well as contributing to numerous publications and presentations on implementation science. Hornak holds a Master of Arts in School Principalship and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Central Michigan University, along with several Michigan certifications and endorsements. She is currently a doctoral student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, studying organizational leadership.
