The National Early Childhood Technical Assistance Center (NECTAC) served as the U.S. Office of Special Education Programs' national resource for states on implementing the early childhood provisions of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). NECTAC worked with leadership personnel from all states and other U.S. affiliated jurisdictions to strengthen service systems to ensure that children with disabilities and other special needs and their families receive and benefit from high quality, culturally appropriate, and family centered supports and services. The TA Center supported states in long-term systems change efforts. NECTAC provided services such as consultation, webinars, publications, and facilitating interagency collaboration.
